Do I need my own AI key?
Yes. Agents HQ connects to Anthropic (Claude) or OpenAI using an API key from your own account. You create one on their website in a few minutes, then paste it into the app.
How much will the AI cost me?
That depends on how much work you give your agents. You pay the AI provider directly at their normal rates. The app shows an estimated cost meter and lets you set a monthly limit for the whole team and for each agent. Agents pause when they reach it.
Is my business data private?
The app runs on your computer. Your files, tasks and API key stay on your machine and go only to the AI provider you choose. We never see them. The app only contacts us to activate and re-check your license (your key and a random ID for your computer) and to check for updates. See the Privacy policy.
Is this a subscription?
No. You pay once for the app. The only ongoing cost is your own AI usage with Anthropic or OpenAI.
Does it run on Mac?
Agents HQ launches on Windows 10 and 11. A Mac version is planned.
Can I change what the agents do?
Yes. Every agent can be renamed and given new instructions. Start from a business template and adjust it to how your company works.
What do I need to get started?
A Windows 10 or 11 PC, an internet connection, and an API key from Anthropic (Claude) or OpenAI with some credit on it. Setup takes a few minutes: install, enter your license key, paste your AI key, pick your business type.
Which is better, Claude or OpenAI?
Both work. Claude keys also unlock web search for the researcher agents. You can switch providers or models any time in Settings.
Can I use it on my laptop and my desktop?
Yes. One license works on up to 2 of your own computers. If you replace a computer, contact support and we'll move your license.
Does it work without internet?
The office opens offline, but agents need the internet to reach your AI provider. The app also checks your license online about once a week.
My business isn't in the list. Will it still work?
Yes. Pick the closest template, then rename the agents and rewrite their instructions for your trade. Any business that writes emails, quotes, posts or plans can use it.
Does it send emails or post for me?
No. Agents draft the work and bring it to your inbox inside the app. You copy it, save it as a file, send it back for changes, or approve it. You stay in control of what goes out.
What if it doesn't work for me?
You have 14 days to ask for a full refund through the support page. See the refund policy.
Will Windows warn me when I install it?
Windows may show a blue "Windows protected your PC" screen for new apps. Click More info, then Run anyway. The download page walks you through it.
